Inspired by Tarim

Tarim Souq began from a love for Tarim, its quiet streets, mud-brick homes, white minarets, carved doors, palms, mountains, and the spiritual beauty woven through a valley long known for knowledge, remembrance and barakah. The artwork is inspired by Tarim’s beauty, its history and the spiritual heritage that makes the city so deeply loved by all.

After spending time in Tarim and the wider valley of Hadramawt, I wanted to create something that could carry a little of that place beyond its borders. Something for those who have been there and miss it, those who call it home, and those who simply feel a connection to it from afar.

Each Tarim Souq design is inspired by the places, colours and details I encountered there, then created into artwork for everyday objects such as phone cases, tote bags, postcards, magnets, prints, tumblers and more.

The idea is simple: to turn familiar pieces of Tarim and Hadramawt into things you can keep close, use every day, give to someone you love, or take with you wherever you go.

A little reminder of Tarim, wherever you are.

And with every piece, a small hope that it carries something of the beauty, barakah and remembrance that Tarim has long been known for. May it be a means of keeping a little of that goodness close.
